Hi, mum recently got a sony ericsson g502 on contract with 3. As you guys probably know the aweful debranding also interferes with the quality of reception

so I was like wondering is there any software out there that I can debrand my fone for free

i know there is that wotanserver but I don't have no doller sitting in my bank account to buy a credit thingy for 7 eur...

You can use A2 Uploader to debrand your phone mate. It allows you to browse the files of the phone and debrand it. I already have you on MSN so I will talk you through it later.

Cheers blud got it debranded...

Just downloaded A2 uploder then used that forum called se users and downloaded the main generic firmware file (.mbn) and fs file (.fbn) and flashed it using a2 uploader!

Thankyou for this, can this be used on most Sony ericsson? when i download the MBN File? and the FBN file?
Can i also add Custom packs with A2 Uploader?

Yes, you need to enable the Filesystem option though to do it. Once this is active, browse to TPA>Preset>Custom and drag in all the files from the same directory of the custom pack you are using.
