hi - im trying to get the 50meg config file to wotk on my sb5100i here in TW land...i dont really know where im suppose to put all the info ?...i have a working 20 meg mac...can get into the 192.168.100.1:666 page...basically what do i change and what do ileave alone..in the "clone", cmconfig and basic setup tabs...?....any help please.....im just curious to see how fast this 50 meg is, im happy with the 20 meg service...but curiosity got the better of me ...ta

It's really not worth doing. The difference in speeds were not drastically different and the best thing was the no traffic management. Some people are struggling to keep there modems online just with the 10 and 20 mb macs. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

i beg to differ daytime it increases speeds up2 30mbs and at night its up2 40mb so its x2 then when u join 2 its 70mb! ur area needs to allow force configs m8 then u just put the 50 config file in the config bit download it on the overveiw page to pc, then upload it to modem tick autoserve and in settings tick tftp bypass save and reboot

Max download I ever got was 3.5 Mbps down, with 20mb I can get 2.5mbps. Not a lot of difference considering the risk of sticking out like a sore thumb.

Try helping yourself use the search button all the info is here and EASY to find, and yet another that didn't even use the introduction thread, if they cant be at least be bothered to do that why you guys help beats me
