i have a 250 that had infinite and recently got fed up with it disconecting so i thort i would upgrade to haxorware 31... wat i done was used hyperterminal loged in to modem selected option d and downloaded firmware all good but when it said save firmware and was given the options 1,2 or 3 i accedently pressed 2 and saved it and i think i was suposed to pres 1... now modem resembles a bricked one.
any ideas?

If you only see a power light and a slow flashing ethernet light, you can either JTag the modem or lift the TSOP. Lifting the TSOP is the easier of the two but it is no walk in the park. You will need to know how to properly lift the chip and solder it back on and you will also need a TSOP programmer.

Do you get anything in HT or putty?

you cannot jtag a 250, so it would need the chip lifting.

What LED's are lit when you plug the modem in?

power and ethernet.... and if i hit execute in console unlocker the ethernet led flashes then softjtag gets conection estableshed then does that stupid mesage and i get no response in hyperterminal

Does console unlocker state it is unlocked? I had a similar problem.

What i did was leave the power connected and excecute console unlocker again, then i was able to connect to soft jtag, without doing that all the buttons were greyed out and i could not flash the bootloader.

You CAN jtag a 250 but it is a lot of work.

no console locker doesnt state nufin, soft jtag says conect established, then its that display timeout thing
