In basic terms a UBR is an area. Like your town could have 6 UBR's 1-6. If you were in UBR 1 you couldn't use a mac from that same UBR as it would kick you off so you would need a mac from another UBR preferably 2 or 3.

oh ok is there a way to know what ubr im in when doing check's as if I find my own first then I know what I would need to look out for.

That should show you your UBR. But if you use dhcp sniffer to scan for macs and click 'bruteforce' it should find macs outside your ubr anyway. |
