thought might be nice to start a thread about modems not down, with a few details of how solved the down prob hopefully,

am running haxo on a ambit 250, have triead few diff macs, forced 20 megs and un forced all went off within few hours, so did a bit of reading, found a link saying to use diff "Frequency settings", hmm, haxo can take 3 so tried "402750000" as pref 1 and "331000000" as pref 2, then used a mac from another area, but made sure was a AMBIT 250 MAC same as my modem, ran ok for 24 hours, so forced a ambit 250 10 meg config, hmm 24 hours later and all ok.

hope some 1 can confirm somet i done is good and also hope this helps some1.

you missed the important stuff such as area, and what frequency you changed it too. thanks

am pure notttingham, and didnt change Frequency settings, haxo can take 3 so just added 1 more.

have now forced 20meg, over 24 hours and all is well so far, can any 1 else let us know if they changed freq or tftp to get stable connection, mabey down to useing a 250 mac on a 250, ect

331000000 is a Telepest frequency btw

Ex C+W in London is also using 298750000 as a second frequency. This has been added a little while ago automatically.
