Hi Guys
Anyone here using a mac and Leopard. If so, have you found a way to change your nicmac? Used to be possible with Tiger but not since upgrading. Any ideas ? Thanks Sipper |

I just tried searching a few topics, and guess what? They come back with thread replies telling people to search! Why not write a solution, so that when people do search in the future, they will find a solution rather than the monotonous "do a search" that seems frequently said on this site. |

Cockneysean because most of the time I am using my iPhone therefore cannot copy/paste. Either way though I am giving more info than they know already. Appologies for my lack of ability to give information on a plate.

Thanks for the advice chaps, however in this case google was not my friend as the majority of the solutions provided are for Tiger, as is the solution cockneysean provided. There was a solution offered however it involved replacing leopard ethernet card drivers with the old Tiger drivers.
The easiest solution by far was to use an old buffalo whr-g54 router I had and load a dualwan script created using dd-wrt, then change the two vlan router mac addresses and bobs your proverbial. S |

This thread DD-WRT Forum :: View topic - Dual / Triple WAN HowTo | DHCP scripts on Page 5!!!! is 58 pages long and explains how to turn a few different types of router into a dual and triple wan router. A lot of it goes way over my head but I struggled on and managed to win eventually. As I mentioned before it's certainly one way of easily changing mac addresses if you're not using windows, or even if you are a windows user. S Last edited by Sipper; 07-04-09 at 06:09 PM. |
