yes toolkitz thats 100% accurate i have done everything you have just described firewall completely off, antivirus shutdown, pc connected to modem via ethernet, include bootfile selected. i am completely stumpted im new to sniffing but im no pc noob i know a few things but think this is outta my league lol

hmmm sorry to say I dont know where to go from here, even I have just done some mac scaning to make sure the settings I have just told you are correct and they are I have macs with bootfiles.

have you got another pc/laptop you could try to scan mac with?

failling that I out of ideas m8 sorry

What area are u in? Is it Pure or TW? As far as i know it dont work in all areas i remember reading it somewhere. If it dont work in your area u will have to trade macs.

if your Langley (original ntl) platform your in a pure area

Look through your list for MACS beginning 00:02:8A

or the first three segments of other working MACS.

You will find the first 3 clusters are always the same, but they vary between the modem models.

When you find them in your list, try using one. Should work.
