Default DHCP Sniffer finding macs with no bootfile

hi ive only been searching for macs for the past few days and i seem to be having a problem i run DHCP Sniffer and put a base mac in select brute force etc and leave it running overnight however when i return to the results the next morning theres a load of macs but none of them have bootfiles am i doing something wrong? i am running the modem without router all firewalls have been turned off ect im now stumped ive tried a few different base macs aswell but still nothing please help

Same here!, i thought sniffer only shows macs with configs! now i get a load of ****

are you connecting directley to your modem not through a router.

yes im connected directly to the modem with no firewalls or even antivirus running

Click the arrow at the side of the save button include bootfile then scan again

Done that too, sounds silly but have you tried recently after a full reboot of everything?
On the off chance iv just tried another scan and its working, bit odd

tricky one this....so lets recap

one modem connected to pc/laptop with ethernet cable and you can surf the net?
run sniffer, your firewall might pop up saying unblock or block app so click unblock DOH or just turn it off.

click on bruteforce and save bootfile put a base mac in and scan. is this right so far?

yeah tried that think i'll try a different base mac i was told to use DHCPforce and use 1 of the macs i find in that as my mac has alrady been used in DHCP sniffer in different locations so apparently it will return the same results but going to have a try with my mac over night see what results i get
