net i.d problem, red jumper won't reset

Hey guys, I've got a Pace 4000, vermin media box. I want to set the net i.d, I've done it before on other boxes without any problem, however, pulling the red jumper is not resetting the net i.d to 9999, it's staying at 48543 and giving me err 11/12 at boot (which is net error). I've tried pulling the jumper for long periods of time, and the battery, but no luck. Has anyone encountered this before or have any idea how to solve the problem, other than perhaps jtag?

I had this problem and got round it by leaving the red jumper off connecting the cable feed then rebooted with the flash card.

Strange that its not resetting netid even, have you tried going into EM with jumper off. What area are you in I know its an excw and maybe telepest box.

If you dont fancy jtag method then you can reset with the scart to serial adapter and libby but for one box would it be worth it to invest in adapter.

the max232 mod works with this. its in novice angel theres just 4 wires to solder, tx rx +v and grd.

I've tried going in to EM but remains on the same old net i.d. It's an official vermin media v box and I'm in a pure area.
I've tried connecting the feed without the jumper in an boot with the flash card, I get err 11/12 for a while then the box goes to AP52 (which is a tuning stage) and stays there.

I thought that was the case thats why I asked what area, Pure resets netid itself to your area. I dont think 4000 box wil work in pure maybe someone can correct me.

AP52 is wrong netid.
