You and me both bud.

Best thing you can do is since your phone is unlocked, go somewhere better than 3!

Orange provide Orange Messenger, which they're helpdesk can support, not sure on charges etc, but as a handy tip, get a free PAYG sim card, register it get the free £1, then port your number from 3 (request your PAC Code) and you'll get £5 from Orange for bringing your number across.

Thats if your wanting to use PAYG of course, or get yourself a sim only deal.

Not sure about what Vodafone are offering at the minute as far as MSN products, but I know they've a free PAYG sim out now, which is for their new Freedom package (4 sims arrived for me this morning!).

Have a look out there, and see who's better than 3, cause they are the pits!
So glad to be off contract now, and my phone ran better once it was debranded of all their crap software too!

I was on Contract with 3, when I had MSN, which was a simple download from their WAP pages. As for Skype, I've never used it on a mobile till I downloaded it for my HTC, which I've used once with poor results, which could be down to the fact my friend was in Poland, or the network I was using at the time. Hope you both have some sort of luck with this.
