hi my gf give me one of these in pink so i thought id be clever and switch the cover. so i pulls the top of ok then puts the black one on (which needed a fair bit pressure)gets it on then completes the rest of the cover.
so far ive tried to turn it on 15 times and the screen stays totally black. im wondering if anyone can help as to what ive actually done wrong? btw the screen is not damaged or cracked.

Open it back up and see if it works, check the LCD ribbon cable to make sure it's not torn or worked it's way loose
