Hi i am looking to buy a Technomate box but was wondering if they can be set up to receive all channels from sky if i have only the basic package ? All help would greatly be appreciated

No, if you want all channels you have to pay for them, and even if you did, a Technomate would not let you watch them all because of card pairing.

So is there no way to receive all channels like with cable ?

Sky use an uncompromised encryption system i.e NDS Videoguard.

UK cable on the hand, uses Nagravision 1 which was blown out of the water and has been hacked to pieces for a long while.
