Cheers Toxic
![]() Got it here in front of me. My instinct's paid off - I'm at work and I know TNT are in here every single day without fail and with living just 2 miles away I took the gamble thinking the same driver would also have my PRIZE. My gamble paid off. I told security to call me the minute TNT was on site and I intercepted him ![]() He shat himself, he thought he was being arrested by anti-terror police of summink ![]() Especially when security reached for the phone to call me and gave the single announcement "TNT are on site". Will have a play tonight with my FREE toy

Cheers guys!
Not 100% impressed with it just yet. Can't knock the picture quality, that's second to none but my FS Passion was much easier to control than this gadget. Much, much easier!!!!! For example when wanting to change from sat to sat, on the Passion I have a 'sat' button, press it, select the sat you want and away you go. With the Foxsat you have to go into menu, select non-freesat mode then take it from there. Most annoying and unnecessarily time consuming. Unless of course, I am doing something wrong and somebody knows an easier way of accessing the 'other' sats on a motorised setup??? Haven't tried the recording yet either. Will try that baby tomorrow night whilst watching Lewis and record No1 Ladies Detective Agency on BBC HD

Another question:-
Is there a better way of interchanging from Freesat to non-Freesat than having to go through loads & loads of menu's??? The proceedure is not very wife friendly. As I said on my other post, my FS Passion HD was very easy at doing this. And, you could save any number of channels from any number of satellite into your favourite list and the receiver would decode them when selecting. This Foxsat doesn't even allow you to save non-Freesat channels into a favourite list !!!!!! What good is that??? These are obviously going to have to be rectified in future software updates. So far I'm giving the Foxsat 5/10 against the 8/10 I'd give my Passion HD. . . . . |

I've had time to have a little more of a play about with it and I am beginning to eat my own words....
I take back what I said about the 5/10 thing, I'm giving it an 8 It's growing on me ![]() And so it should, it was FREE!!!!! Tried the PVR jobby the other night and was very impressed. As I'm new to PVR receivers, could someone answer me this:- Transferring your recorded files to a DVD recorder? Is there an easier way than having to watch the programmes while you record? Or do I have to transfer them to an external HDD and recode them on the PC? [PS. My FS Passion is now on Ebay.....] |
