4000n not updating

Got a 4000n running in excw, its got old N*L 3.3 cr3 software and v1.9 bootloader and this box is not updating.
Already done the following things:

1) Opened the box to check the 'no update mod' but the resistors are intact.
2) Tried the forced update 4321 but no luck.
3) Removed the red jumper and used the fun card to set the netid, it sets the netid but numbers doesn't roll and it doesn't update.

Also the box keeps on restarting after every 3-5mins while watching the channels and when left in the em it doesn't restart, so i think its the old software which is forcing it to restart.

Talkback has been disabled on the box. Does the talkback has to be enabled to update the box.

Any suggestions how can i update to vm 3.6 software.

What g77 means is the audio description is usually stuck on, on old software.
Try checking resistors are ok if you have test meter, it shouldnt make any difference T/B cut.

It doesn't keep on for long so i haven't had the chance to observe that. From my original post above.
