hey all.can anyone tell me what is the best way to get a log of what my modem is doing on bootup.its been down for weeks,tried most workarounds with no luck.i'd like to post it here and get sum feedback if poss?.is SBlog any good for doing this.?also.if someones clone cable box was still working.is this an indicator that there internet signal should still be on ?

What firmware is the modem on? Go to 192.168.100.1 and there should be an option on there (Vermin firmware, Haxorware or Infinite) that tells you everything that the modem has done.

yeah.ive been to the moto page and that just tells me nothing has happened.cant aquire downstream.then evrything is blank.i think there is a more in depth way of doing this....hopefully

You got a valid MAC and/or Config file?

If the modem has a shelled firmware, telnet in with putty and enable logging.
