Problems using TVN card in Diablo cam

I got my TVN card initialised eventually and I had it tested by someone in their Diablo cam and it opened the TVN encrypted channels no problem. But I still can’t open the channels in my receiver with my Diablo cam. The Diablo works ok with U/world 170 - was watching Canal film channels yesterday. When I look at 'Smart Card Info' in the menu there is no info showing (only 'ATR' but no info on it). Do I need to change the configuration settings? I’d be grateful for any help anyone could give me.
I have a Fortec Star Passion+ (which doesn’t have a separate card slot).

Did you try using your Diablo CAM,in someone's receiver,to make sure that there is not a problem with the CAM itself?
When you checked the Smart card menu,was the card inserted,when you got the ATR message?
Have you tried deleting the TVN channels and then rescanning them,and then inserting your Diablo CAM and viewing card?

To add to that what settings have you got in the Configuration file, especially the Caids File?
This might sound basic but have you got the card inserted the correct way, chip facing upwards, you'd be surprised how many people don't.
Do you know the required CAID to work with the card?

Thanks for the helpful posts. Unfortunately I can’t test my cam in another receiver as I don’t know anyone who has one that lives nearby. The card was inserted when I got the ATR message. I will try deleting and rescanning the TVN channels.
I did have the card in the correct way. Here are the configuration settings I used (I changed them to the same as those used by the person who tested my card):- Language - English; Caids File - (CAIDS); AUTO PMT - (ON); Emulators (ON); N2 AU - (ON); Emulators Priority - 1 emu 2 cards; FIXED CW - (ON); Smartcard mess. (Show Never).
My previous receiver was a Fortec Star Sigma which was not compatible with the Diablo cam. I have set it up again and tried the TVN card in the card slot - and it works! So at least I have the means to watch the TVN channels until I can sort out the Diablo cam.

Turn N2 AU to OFF, as this no longer works, change Emulators Priority to 1 Card 2 Emu, as you're using a subscription card, and turn Fixed CW to OFF, unless you're viewing some biss/Constant CW channels using a latest keys bin file.

Thanks Mickha. I will leave the Sigma connected atm as there is some sport I very much want to watch on Sunday and I don't want to rock the boat! Come Monday it's a whole new ball game with the suggestions being the main strike force! Hope I score.

Something else to consider,is the receiver upated with the latest firmware.

Well, I have tried all I was told to do where possible but still no result. I know the cam is working as I've just installed Underworld 171 and can get Conax programs on Thor ok. Many thanks for all your help but I'm afraid I will have to admit defeat. Every weekend I will just have to set up the old Fortec Star sigma receiver to watch my sport channel!
