hey guys!
i've got this chipped pace virgin media Vbox and since a couple of days ago its stopped working, i think it's stuck in the channel loading stage and all that happens is virgin media appears on screen on the box itself appears AP 52. any ideas of how to get it working again??? i've already unplugged the device, removed and re-inserted the card, turned it off overnight but still the same problem. |

you have no signal
this is due to the stb loosing its net id ( check page 2 eng menu) or you have been switched off at the cab

thanks spike
probably naive of me but i'm not up to speed with the acronyms, but i'm assuming CAB is some central accessing control point or along those lines. so what could i do to get it up and running again? i'm guessing it requires a new net_id/key, how could i go about implementing that? i understand the legal implications, but desperate times desperate measures. |

a cab is the green peice of street furnature you see the kids sitting on and 'tagging' with graffiti.
in it are cables and connections. yours has more than likely been pulled out to make space for some other subscriber. or, you've put a spade thru the cable when you've been doing your garden

You have to make sure your line is active you can test it by putting an adaptor on the end and connecting it direct to your t.v and doing a scan. If it picks up channels 1-5 and maybe a few more your line is active after that check your Net id in eng menu. Could possibly be the dates on the card aswell.
