Hi all
can anyone out there please help me have a sb5101e using haxorware i am unable to get past retrieving time of day , i am pretty new to this and would appreciate any assistance thanks

I think you need a new MAC.

Also could you go into more detail about where abouts you are, who your cable provider is, and the settings your 5101 is using please?

the mac works on an sb5100 but i am unsure of the server ip address

Huh?

Right now tftp server IP's are the least of your concern.

Getting back online is though yes? One step at a time.....

What firmware is your modem running?

What settings is it using?

What area are you in?

(I asked all that abovbe btw!)

ok im in birmingham , i installed haxorware r 1.06 settings i have used are :-
General
factory mode unticked
disable firmware upgrades ticked
tftp enforce bypass ticked
disable ip filters on start up unticked
frequency settings
annex - both
plan european
preferd ds frq1 339000000
addresses

config file
server ip 194.168.4.100
config file cm-10240-512

Get rid of the tftp IP and the config name, save/reboot. Then see what happens.

Also untick TFTP bypass.
