Default Black screen in MP

Setup is Vista 32 SP1, TT-1501 using 5.0.1.8, ATI HD3200 using latest catalyst, Mediaportal singleseat install, no plugins.
Scan went ok and was able to preview in tvserver. However, I am only getting a black screen when viewing the same channel (e.g. itv) on the client. Sound is fine. I tried all 4 available codecs but none showed a picture in client mode.
Available codecs are:
MPV Decoder Filter
CBVA DMO wrapper filter
ffdshow Video Decoder
Microsoft MPEG-2 Video Decoder

Could someone shed any light please?
