it means that the box isn't connected up to the cable feed. or, if it is, it's not got the right netid.

have a look in the logs, it could say card never paired or card ok, something like that.

Hi, I've been following your posts mate... from what I can gather you have 4200 with talkback trick done... excellent! Good start... thats the first rule.

The next step for you now then would be to find out if your card is "paired" with the box.

If you do these checks without the cable connected, the box will show "no t-stream" which simply means that the network cable or its real name "Transport Stream" is not connected to your box and cannot give you "card status". Hence "No t-stream". Shut box down connect feed cable and try again.

So then, to find card status your cable feed must be connected to box when booting it up.

As G77 rightly stated, there are many areas with networks up and down the country. Each has its own individual Network ID (for us in newcastle - 40969), a frequency number (for us - 571.000mhz) and a QAM type (for us - 64).

You need to check these first as you will still get a "no t-stream" message when the cable feed is connected, if these are not set for our area.

With a bit luck it will be a local box so you wont have to change anything here. But if you do you can use your remote to set the values, if you do chance the values, dont forget to move down the screen and select "save data".

If the network id is NOT 40969 let us know and we'll help you to change it.

See image.

Hope you are following me here? (G77 please correct me if I'm wrong here mate, been a while for me on a 4200).

When you have the same screen as shown in the image, you can now look on page 2 in eng menu to see network id (40969) and card status... you are looking for "OK".

If you have got this far I'm doing well here... LOL!

Post your finding mate... we'll help ya out!
