you would not need to use any programs for ambit 256, because you have already bought spi chip with haxorware on it, you need to unsoldier the orginal one in ambit modem and solder this one on it.

i got g77 to do it on this forum as i found it hard to unsolder

so all i have to do is solder the chip in and then set up hoaxware in the modem?
does the same princibal apply to the modem as the eurovox amd same, as in the modem doesnt talk back to virmin? cheers peeps..

unsoldier the original spi chip and put the new one in which has haxorware installed on it. then yes set haxorware up in browser. it doesnt send talk back like boxes. but if you are going to be using modem directly connected to pc with ethernet, e.g. no router, then you are recommended to spoof your nic card. network interface card. using program called smac. read up on forum for more info on that. thanks

OK peeps, got my spi chip with hoaxware onit for the ambit 256. but cant find a guide on how to setup hoaxware 1.1 rev 32. any links or owt would be mint, cheers guys..

just received my 256 today pre flashed with haxorware onit, havng problems logging into it. tried http://192.168.100.1 which works on my subbed motorola but no go on my ambit, any help please peeps?
