Just a query

I get a welcome box on the start screen telling me I have Prog DVB 6.05 Standard Edition Release
In Prog DVB in C/Program Files I have a Prog DVB 605 Std.exe dated 11.03.09

BUT in Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs under Prog DVB I have
Support Information Publisher den78 Version 10.3
Does this mean I don't have the official Prog DVB version?

The program is working ok at present but last month I asked a friend of a friend for help with a problem I had. He seemed to know what he was doing and he fixed it, so I think the den 78 version came from that.
I ask because there is a newer version 6.05.02 available but I dont want to download if it might not take over the den78 version.

I dont understand computers, thats the problem here.
In your opinion can I download the latest Prog DVB update on top of the den 78 version 10.3
shown in Control Panel ?

Nobody responded.
Just for the record I did update Prog DVB but the den 78 v 10.3 is still shown in the Control Panel where I would have expected the latest downloaded version of Prog DVB to be shown.
I can see from Google that the den 78 is only a Prog DVB plugin not an official Prog DVB program update - it just shows how little I know about computers.
