Card came today and installed software but i get error code 619 when i try to connect. I think this is a pc problem as apposed to the connection. I do have a pcmcia wireless lan i use when at home so maybe its conflicting with that comms port. It says it is using comm 16 in the settings but thats where im now out my league.
What you think?? |

Just got my card today, do you need to phone to register the sim or is it automatic?
Also, is there any way to stop the vodafone application from disabling my home WLAN - it says it's unsupported and disconnects me, I have to close the Vodafone application to use my home WLAN |

Update, yes you do phone to register and the latest application update will allow the home WLAN to connect.
I've done a scan for available phone networks, it finds the three network despite us officially having no coverage and does not find O2 despite us officially having good coverage ![]() |

This scam has stopped working! Now they dont want the serial number, they want the customer order number off the reciept!! Damn wish I had got my finger out and done it earlier!!

Try buying something cheap, eg a battery, then use that receipt number and see if it works
