JTAG'ing an Ambit is very difficult, and more of a proof of concept than an actual method due to the very fiddly soldering that needs to be done, along with other mods.

If you are considering flashing more modems in the future, it's certainly a good idea to buy a programmer, but if you just want to revive the one modem, either get someone to reflash the tsop for you, or sell it on fleabay and put the pounds towards another.

It will still sell even if bricked, then you'll probably only need another fiver to get another A250.
