I formatted someones 64bit pc the other day and installed xp home, then updated to sp2. I noticed that fast user switching doesnt work (something to do with x86_gina.dll which makes me think its to do with the cpu) and most games wont work properly and just crash the pc out. Is there anything i can do to resolve? Apart from install the 64bit windows that is

Try the 32bit Win XP pro, it seems to work OK on my 64bit AMD. I tried the 64bit Windoze but found that some proggys didn't work so went back to the 32bit.

The person i installed it for had an xp home key so i thought it would be better to use that, i dont think they'll pay for a pro key and i dont have one i can give them
