Default Talk Back

Hi, friend of mine bought a modded box of somebody and everything was fine ie gets all the channels but couple of months later the box had stopped receiving signal, so when I took it home today and checked it coz we are in the same area the box worked just fine all the channels were clear but I noticed the talk back was not done so I opened the box just to confirm and the talk back was still there not cut.fficeffice" />>>
My question is what happened when they find out that a modded box was in operation, could that be the reason why his box has stopped receiving any signal???>>
If that so how to go about fixing the problem apart from cuttiing the talk back of course??>>
>>
Thank you for your help guys…>>

Thanks m8, so I guess the signal problem is nothing to do with the box or the talk back??

No if the box works at yours it must be his signal, if he hasnt got a subscription they may have used his connection for a new customer, i havnt heard of anyone being cut off in this way, i would have thought he would have had a knock on the door first.

Does your mate subscribe to any of the Virgin Cable line products? I.e TV or Broadband. Cos like red said. They may have cut his house off from the distribution box for another customer, or just to free up space.

Yeah its usually the big green cabinet somewhere along the street.
I reckon they've disconnected your friend from the Cab.
I suggest you check all cables in the house and also in the brown box (omnibox) outside the house on the wall.
If nothing arrises with success then i reccomend telling him to get the phoneline from them and getting the free TV package.
Then he will be enabled.
