PhotoPlus 10 Studio Pack disappoints in its meager options for sharing your digital photos with others. But the software package is worthy of consideration on the merits of its excellent image editor. Despite somewhat sluggish performance, the image editor has an interface and feature set reminiscent of Adobe Photoshop's.

PhotoImpact 11 adds a few enhancements to the package's powerful image editor. If you're creating graphics for the Web, PhotoImpact 11 is a very good choice, but its photo-organizing tools are disappointing.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 is more powerful than ever, and its excellent features and integration of the organizing/editing functions make it the best choice for handling your digital photo collection.

With Paint Shop Pro X, Corel has managed to flatten the image editor's learning curve without weakening its power. The program continues to be a top-notch image editor and an economical choice.
