Hi, just wondering would it be legal to chip a PS2 and discuss it on these forums? I ask as I am wanting to learn how to chip a Playstation 2 in the summer-Now you may say why I am wanting to chip PS2's and not Xbox 360's, but I am wanting to chip a cheap console that I can buy under £35. Of course, in the future I will probably want to know how to chip Xbox 360's

Mods, if this breaks any rules, feel free to delete the thread

I'm sure you could talk about modding PS2s, there's talk about modding XBox 360s and Nintendo Wiis mate so I don't see why not

Haha, you can buy solderless mod chips for the PS2 nowadays. The DMS4 EZI Pro is one of them, you just clip it onto the PS2s motherboard.

I know-I read up on them, but I also want to get my soldering skills right, so I will be capable of jtagging other boxes @ the same time as soldering a chip

that would be a great thread to keep alive, ps2 about £30 cash converters also the xbox so cheap little project for someone to get into to start modding, think i might jump on this band wagon.
