Default mixed up channels on PACE 2000

I have had a Pace 2000 for a couple of years now and about 5 months ago the channels re-aranged from the normal. They now start at no.1 instead of 101 and I thought it must just be how those boxes receive the signal now as my Sansung is OK. I recently had to reset the net ID on a friends Pace 2000 box using Libby and I noticed that the channels are all OK on that box and in the correct numbering. Is there anything I can do to correct this on my Pace 2000?

Two things..

Do all the channels work, and does EPG display the correct data for the channels?

If so, why even change it?

However, it could be a sign of the box dying, messing around alot might kill it.
