Im using a ambit 250 I think im going to leave the stealth as it is for the time being as I havent been kicked at all. I do keep getting this in the telnet log anyone got any ideas?

MAC is from same UBR mate, needs changing

Hi was wandering if there is any other reason for this to appear in the logs as I am 100% certain the mac I tried last night was definitely from a different UBR as I sniffed it from a mates house after ensuring the ubr was different

HI /24,i don't know if this will help as i've not got a clue about logs etc. i'm just a change and try man and if it works it works then try and remember what you did different from the last time you got kicked off.I have a theory i posted a year or two ago,we sniff macs from another ubr try a few,some work some don't,whats the chances of the guy down the street sniffing the same macs and doing the same as you,then you have the same macs being used on the same ubr with the result that they are booted off and possibly banned,but say you do get one running ok and someone in the next ubr sniffs it and uses it with the result that everybody including the poor innocent legit mac user gets kicked off,throw in what they are doing with the configs & tftps and it could explain some of the problems we've been having for a while,its just an idea thats been kicking around in my head for a while hope it helps. highholmer.
