Default Virgins way to increase speed

Hi guys just followed these instructions of virgins own site and increase my speed fantastically, i never really got near 20mb but now i do after setting network card to half duplex.Just played with the options and reaped the results.

Made no difference to my connection, was set to auto negotiation prior to the change.

Neither gave a better result.

It was set to auto negotiation prior to changing it to full, and then half duplex.

All three settings gave the usual 16-19meg, similar to parriculls results, but then again we have never had issues with our 20meg subbed modem either, and thats on a wireless router.

Just to add previously i was only getting 14mb average but now its up there so it may not work for everyone but im happy.
