If its nthell your on its normally due to them pratting about with the UBR's
are you getting significant loss of dl / ul as well?

example 10mb down to 1mb download?

Last night yes.

17meg down to 2meg, rebooted in the morning and it was back to 17meg :S

Forcing 20 in pure, did have to re-spoof the nic tho, went down earlier stuck on ranging. see here: Any modems down post here

EDIT: after spoofing the nic, it came back up and is still working fine since.

They've been doing a hell of a lot of work over the past week in the Midlands/Leicester/Notts/Stafford as the rollouts for the 50mb's start very soon

Thanks for the heads up, did think it was rather weird, but since I managed to get it back up and running smoothly, I thought best not mess with things, and just see how it goes.

I just keep getting kicked off very often.

Also, this new frequency popped up:

As its teh weekend and that when they like to play, cos it realy annoys the customers you have two options:

1) Ring CS and speak to the lovely David/Mary from just down the road from you in Deli.

2) Reset the modem

3) Put up with it, and if it is still effected 2moz, if it is ring CS again you'll get to speak to either a Taff or a Jock but at least its basic english
