Have you pre-formatted the card before inserting it into the phone?

Most devices will format for you, beforehand, but the other thing I'd like to ask, is where did you buy it from?

Question Re: n95 memory

Might depend if the phone has old firmware on it. Nokia used to say 2gb was the limit but 4gb's defo worked even then. My sister-in-law uses a 4gb on hers no probs.
Can you check the memory card on your pc?
HH.

Since i'm not really up on Nokias (don't like them tbqfh), your best option is to do an update through nokia.co.uk, make sure your memory card is out of the phone while updating, and see how that pans out for you. One thing about egay purchasing, is to be careful. I could sell you an item, and you can only take it at face value. Unless you saw everything working when you bought it, I would never believe a seller, and thats coming from an ebay seller too! I do my utmost to be honest, but not everyone is happy to follow suit. Just be careful with purchasing electrical goods through there, especially memory cards etc. Only a word of warning, up to you if you chose to heed or not.
