Can't access Engineers Menu on Samsung 2100c

I need to set net id but can't access engineers menu, it's showing ER:5 is there anything I can do about this cos I'm stuck now.

I shorted battery out a few days back to sort pin out but now it just comes up ER:5 and then after a bit it goes through a cycle of updating but then sticks at AP:52, cable feed is ok as well.

Isn't AP:52 to do with net id?

EDIT: here is some more info: Box just went off!!!!

As for ER:5 tho.. Give me a lil while, ill look into it

Use Paces myself, but can you try forcing the box to update? One of my paces wouldn't let me into the EM at all until it had the new virmin software.

Are you in pure?

Oh by the way after a while it starts to go through the update stuff and like i say it gets stuck on AP:52, not using splitters and cable feed is deffo OK.

Did you leave it on AP:52 for a while?

My second pace box took nearly 40minutes to finish.

I think I left it at AP52 for about 15 minutes, shall I switch it on an leave it on for 45 minutes and see if that works.

Its always worth trying yes, as i said.. I unplugged my second box and left it for two days thinking it was a gonner,
