How come I aint managed to break anything yet, apart from my max232 cable, had to make several new ones, due to evil modems not letting the cable go once flashed!

most of my doorstops are for non jtagable boxes which have have false bk's. A couple are sa4000/4200's which i cannot use here. (these i have the bk for)

hi g77. i,ve got a 4200dvb with original card and i,m in a telepest area. the box is from a telepest area too. just wondering if you could point out a good tut. i've looked at some of the tuts but they seem to be for the 4000 model. hope you can help.

This might be a silly question but how to i actually find out what kind of area i live in. i already have a VM subscription and i just bought a scientific-atlanta V+ box i understand i need to change the net id and i also understand that i need the BK and in order to get that i need the orignal paired card which i have. now i know there are different procedures for different area so firstly i just need to know how do i find out what area i am in? please help and also i need to know what exactly do i need to do to read the BK of the card thank you

its on the on screen menu, to go guide/setting/technical stuff and its the 1st line on the 1st page
