Default Newbie, question about cards and cams

Hi i'm fairly new to satellite. I've just bought a Minibee programmer and a fun card. I don't expect to be able to open much with the Fun Card, i've bought it for practice mainly. I don't really know where to start. Do i just load the latests keys? or do i have to load other software first? The card is brand new and completely blank. Also if i buy a Gamma or M2+ card what would i be able to open with them and how long will they last? I've heard the M2+ is reaching the end of its life? It seems a Diablo cam would be the way to go but i don't really want to spend that much(would i be able to update a Diablo cam with a card programmed by the minibee or would i need a cas programmer?). Will a M2+ or Gamma card open whats shown as open for Underworld in the top thread?

Sorry for all the questions but any help would be much apprecited.
