I have currently 11/08 firmware on my Blue Eurovox Max 2006 but it does not recieve any channels so I was wondering how to put the old firmware back onto it. Tried many times but just says failed and then locks up I ahve to open box and press button on main board to free it.

Any ideas would be very helpful. I have tried to look at other threads to get the answers to no avail.

are you sure its a blue box and is it genuine or a clone (you could try the clonesafe firmware which is OK for both)
normally if you can't pick up any channels you have either a bad signal or you are not scanning on the correct symbolrate.

I am getting channels however they either say updateing or smart card required. Was wanna try and get back to the old firmware but would let me upload says failed.

check that you have EMM and Emmulation capture enabled and set default key, put on to S*y Sp***s1 and see if it updates
