Mort, did you ever get this sorted? I've just 7Mc on two of mine, and it's never asked me for the emitters... this is a freeview/non stb setup, though. There can't be anything too special going on - try plugging some headphones in!

I've just done a 7MC install, with it being Ultimate it's ;et me set up 4 DVB-T tuners (2xFDTV and 2xPinnacle 3010). It's also let me use one of the analogue tuners off the Pinnacle set up as though it's connected to a STB. So I have five tuners! Bargain that pinnacle...

Again, the trick is to setup the analogue card first, then setup the two FDTV's as DVB-T on their own, THEN setup the two Pinnacles on their own, then let it go and scan. If you set them all up together, it seems to assume that all channels are available on all four tuners.

I ended up going for the XML option as my pinnacle TV card suddenly stopped working. I'm now using a combination of XMLTV to download the EPG data from the Radio Times Website and BigScreenEPG to load the data into Media Centre.

It's a bit of a pain to set up but works pretty well although not perfectly.

If anyone want to know more I'm happy to do some sort of guide. The only drawback is that I think BigscreenEPG will start charging for the software soon, it's in Beta at the moment.

Mort..

Sounds like a good solution - Still a couple of channels that are missing from the guide, and I think that the quality of the uide data in the TV Pack/7MC is not as good as in MCE...

Hi - I am going to upgrade to windows 7 RTM once it officially comes out, today probably.....

I already have everything working with vista MCE and TVPACK2008 and x2 DVB-C's.I used the analogue card and the channels/guide work ok.

In windows 7 ...........

Does TVpack come installed already or do I need to install it seperately ??

Do I still need to use an analogue card to get the guide working ?? I presume from the discussion above I do !?

Thanks ??

No, you don't need the tv pack, all the functionality of the tv pack is built into 7mc

I'm still using an analogue card, yes, although you could try what mort's sugested.

Good news is that rearranging channels and doing the listings is significantly faster with 7mc than it was with the tv pack. Same process, just much faster.

Depends what you mean by "this". You can get DVB-C working on MCE, but you can't mix tuner types.
