For those of you that have bought the Technika DVD-1033, the very cheap but superb Xvid DVD player from Tesco i have fnally managed to find a multi-region hack that works:

Open Tray,
Press setup,
Press the >> fast forward button,
Type in 9735,

you will see the number 2 appear in the top bar,

Use the left or right arrows to move it to 0 or 255 and use the setup button to exit the hidden menu.

The player is now multi-region. I take no credit for this and it was found on a website called videohelp but it will hopefully help some of you out!

Hi Guys,

I don't know if the Technika DVD104 player is an HDMI device or not, but here's how to unlock it:

1. Turn the player On
2. Open using the remote
3. Press Setup
4. Press volume buttons Up, Down, Up, Down
5. Press Right button
6. You will see a number appear in the top right hand corner of your screen, Keep pressing Right until the number 255 appears.
7. Press Setup to exit
8. Your player will now be region free

I joined them ages ago and have unlocked many players in the process. The link at the top of the page is ace - but of you want a specific player unlocked that isn't listed, the DVDExploder group does it for me.
