Hi all I tried to flash using IFA the image.it doesnt seem to connect switched off the firewall and follwed the sticky but cant see how to do it. I put the media sensing patch and switched the box off and selected the rom and the network card and started Ifa on the script it says something went wronf any idea's?

you use ftp prog to transfere over rom.

IFA is used to transfer image

Step by step guide to transferring the new Nagrarom7.bin file to Dbox2

you can reflash any image to your box but the rom update will need doing to any

so learn how to update the rom to the image on your box first.

The nov fix rom update is already there...so thats why wanted to re flash the image as quavis suggested.

there are two ways to flash the box

1 ifa
2 is useing a ftp prog like flash fxp
you transfere image to temp folder then with remote
dbox / services / image upgrade / flash one part / flash without bootloader.

most of this stuff has been asked over and over so doing forum search .

I can connect the dbox via ftp but the conection does not last long to transfer anything gets cut off and try's about 5 more times to get in...any idea's?Thanks

what are the settings you are useing on your netcard and in the box.?

D box was
ip 192.168.1.110
sub 255.255.255.0
broad cast 192.168.1.255

pc
ip 192.168.1.109
sub 255.255.255.0

it connects and can i can see the directory as well but the connection wont last long
