ambit 250/255 hackable boot up check?

Hi evryone,

is there a way (i remeber hearing about this) when either of the ambit modems are pluged in you can tell if they have the P option by what lights come on first. does anyone know of this???

Also if the modems dont appear to have the P option in hperterminal is there anything i can do to them bare lifing the tsop thanx.

If the modem doesn't have the P option then its on the new bootloader and you'll need console unlocker, softjtag & max232 cable.

thanx baked188 knew about the bootloader but didnt know that there was a solution (console un-locker) all the modems i have must be using the new bootloader they dont appear to have any options in hyperterminal they end with the message "disable console output" and im unable to do anything to them.

When you've got the cdisable console output open the console unlocker and click exploit. then re-write the bootloader using softjtag, think both these files r avail in downloads. if not giz a shout ill send them u.
