OK, it's gota be the second board (biger board) No chance of repairing this board, just take a look at all the components on this and how small some of the chips are, even if you were fluent in repairing, yer could never repair this one becuase these boards are made by robot tech, so havin' said this if no psu issue then this board is impossable to repair, yer better off takin't the psu out for a spare and buying a new KV.

Leave it unplugged for 10-15 minutes then power up again, that often solves it.

On this partucular box that dont work tried it many times even swapped psu from a working box still same.

worth a try though a friends dis the same after several plugging in and out it worked again, if flashed with power off/on method it got stuck but was ok with red button method.

Yeh worth a go and I did try it a fair few times it just dont want to happen. The thing is it flashes fine and as soon as it finishes promptly goes and sits back to "on". Even tried to flash to earlier firmware but still same.

Yusuf,

I got your psu on Thursday.

I checked the caps you replaced and all ok, tested all diodes and they are spot on and ok.

Located 2 shorted caps, replaced them and psu now perfect and firing up.

Replace Diode 7 on psu, this is deffo a fault with this syndrome.
