Personally I split the feed to both boxes. I have my VM box in standby mode on AV1 while I watch all the good stuff on my Eurovox on AV2. It works a treat and hopefully VM are seeing my live connection to their box????

Cheers mate i know what you are on about, i have feeds going into 2 bedrooms so i dont need to connect to another tv.
glazerz set up is what i was thinking about but would it matter if i didnt connect the virgin box to the tv.Would it still be able to be detected if it was just on standby and connected to the supply only?

I think that this set up would be ok. VM I believe just need to know that there is a live connection to their box?

To be on the safe side I watch programs on their box from time to time just to make sure they don't smell a rat. Also their TV on demand can be quite useful from time to time.

Unless your on the XL package you can only get the catch up tv stuff unless you want to buy a film or something.

Bringing up this thread..

Im having 50mb broadband installed and xxl phone.. i think you get the m package tv free with that as a bundle so im presuming they will bring a free v box. (not +)

Well by then i should have my own +, But i got no way of keeping the free box connected.. will that matter?
