Hi all My name is Sav and I am from the UK. I am a network administrator here and have just registered with this forum. Could you please help me unlock my ntl cable box please? I have a legitimate NTL box and the smart card version is DNAsp011 REVB0C, do you reckon this box can be unlocked. Is there a tutorial givin me more information about this please? Help is much appreciated.

That card type can be unlocked no problem. All you need is the right equipment.

Firstly you'll need a card programmer, I use infinity unlimited, probably the best you can buy at the moment.

You will also need an unlooper. A t911 is recommended, you can buy one from www.unapit.com Theres also the u-bomb, you can buy that from www.jabsplace.co.uk I have both and they both perform quite well.

Give this tutorial a read, its a great tut to read if you're starting off...

I don't know where lincsats post went, but is this your original box that you're thinking of messing with?

Hi amo, i remember lincsats posting about not using the subbed box and yes it seems that post is gone. I remember sometime yesterday that the site was down. May be it could be because of this.

Yes my post has vanished - anyway, don't mess with your subbed box, NTL will soon trace you that way. Either get another box with card or a dbox2, Dreambox-C or similar, ebay is as good a source as any.

Thanks for following up. I did mamage to find a box but it is analogue to be exact it is a General Instruments SFT 2100 box. I have requested someone to give me a NTL box lieing around in his house and should hopefully get it by monday. I will definately keep you informed once i get it. Cheers

Dear Amo and Lincsat and other forum members,
I have order the Infinite unlimited programmer and T911 unlooper. I have also got a box that i shall test in a day or so. Is there any docomentation available regarding programming using t911 programmer. Also is it better to use a Titanium card or a funcard. Need your advice on this please. Looking forward to hear from you soon.
