Maybe this was done before and many of you know how but i thought i ll help ppl like me who only figured it out yesterday. This is useful if you dont have a transponder file or for scanning new transponders etc...
You will need transedit (you can download it from members area of dvbviewer). Just unzip it to dvbviewer folder. No need to install it as it just runs. Run it and you will see transponder files on the left, dont worry about those. Click on blind scan you will see the following: Parameters Symbol rate Modulation On parameters u will need frequency range so a format like this: 200.00-900.00 (you can chose to input decimals if u wish) will scan freq from 200-900. If you leave it as is it will scan one step. You can scan in different steps by inputing the following format i.e. 200-900:0.25. This will scan in steps of 0.25 i.e 200, 200.25, 200.50, 201.00 and so on. It is longer but thorough scan. Once you finish scanning click on export. this will produce a channellist.ini. save it where you like (default is transponder file in dvbviewer folder)than use channel editor to import it in dvbviewer. Hope it helps |
