help with Eurovox EX7000 ??

hi, just purchased a shiny new Eurovox EX7000 hd,its not in my possesion yet but will be in the next day or 2,was wondering if i need to do any updates as soon as i get it or will it come with latest firmware installed ???


any ideas chaps ??

Depends who you got it from. If it was from Zemme or Lincsat then yes it will already be flashed if not then probably you will have to flash it yourself

No it wont come with firmware on it cause its against the law
for a supplier to preflash the eurovox

Mine come this morning

What i done was take it out the box for the first time hook it up to your
pc. Put the latest firmware on it

Then you hook it up the the Cable feed [NOT THE SPLITTER] the wire coming
out your isolater box do a power scan and............Bobs your uncle

You name it you got it

Sky sports
sky movies

Its all there hope that helped..!!

When mine arrived this morning it come with a peice of paper in the box saying unless you install the firmware the box WONT work ???

It then give an internet site to download the firmware from.. but i used
a link from here cause i wasn't sure their firmware would be the one that
we want the firmware to do.....[catch my drift]

My box is a EUROVOX EX1000 SL so im not sure if you can use the same firmware i used mate..!!

Youll be as shocked as i was their better then you can imagine
even picks up top premium channels like disney cinema & zee tv

VM charge £6 xtra a month for those channels and thats after you pay
£45 per month for the XL package

i take it the picture quality is good ?? i know theres only 1 hd channel so far bbc, but hopefully more to follow
