Ireland -UPC Nagra 2/3 - Does it affect PC Cards

As you might have heard UPC Ireland are now using Nagra 2 and they might be using Nagra 3 in the future.

How does that affect people with PC cards (I've a FireDTV) as most of the people on here have boxes like Dboxes/starview/eurovoxes.

a pc card is just a reciever just like the boxes if the the encryption isnt broken or the keys are not known ..then you will not get no tv

i thought nagra 2 was hacked, i have vplug setup with a tt1501, is there any way to get vplug to decode nagra 2 in the mean time?

seems to depend on the rom whatever that is ,here is a couple of cut and pastes from another forum might give you some idea

those boxes can decrypt the N2 that they have been testing but not the N3. It is only a temporary solution. I contacted the guy who posts the firmware for a N2 rom but no luck so far.
pc cards
well I have 3 TT C-1501's that I am currently using as door stops. Have they even started testing in the UK yet? is there a 1802 or 1803 CAID in the vplug window?
