No.

You need to read about macs, UBRs and how they work because no offense, but thats a very silly question.

Mac cloning only really works when you find a mac thats both not too far or too close to you. It must be in the same region though, example, my UBR is basf7, I can and do use macs from basf4, but cannot from basf2.

Easy as that

so how do you find out the ubr if you dont have a modem ?? is it possible to check a ubr via postcode....and to be honest I dont think it was a silly question because to my understanding in northampton you are able to force config!! now its either my sillyness or you are not able to force config........sorry for any confusion i may be in but I have read about them (ubr and macs) and to my understanding forcing isnt possible in leeds but is possible in ntl area.
