Default To buy or not to buy..

Hi, I am thinking of getting the KryptView Arnet 750 from linc-sats website, but as this is my first venture into this world - i wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of some useful info on getting set up and how to keep the box up to date etc.

From reading threads on here - it seems that it should be fairly straight forward, but want to make sure i'm not getting in out of my depth - any advice/tip etc would be greatly appreciated!

Hey newbie,

I decided to buy this box only this week and like you I'm very new to the game. I don't mind giving it a test run for you. I'll let you know how I get on. I'm stuck right now

Thumbs up Re: To buy or not to buy..

Go for it mate. Only seems difficult 'cos it's new to you & you've got the fear factor of shelling out for the box then not being able to get it working as you would like. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Once you've got it, try & get it going yourself, IF you've tried your best & are struggling somebody on here will point you in the right direction.

So I took the plunge and got the kryptview - all set up and running well, very happy with the box so far! My only niggle so far is the colour settings. It seems very difficult to adjust these on the box, and I can't seem to get them right - can anyone suggest levels that they find give good skin tone etc?
Cheers for any info!!

Have you tried adjusting the colour levels in your TV options and not the kryptview?

Does the Kryptview have a setting for different file formats eg: PAL, NTSC etc.. If it does, maybe change that?
