trying to do this just now but it doesnt seem to detect any devices when a plug my phone into the usb, any idea how to get the aerix program to connect to your phone

That's what the instructions I posted advocate too, except that the USB cable is in the Phone as opposed to the PC i.e. only one end of the USB cable is connected to something, with the other end floating The Phone can't detect a floating USB cable, and neither can a PC, since there's no circuit being completed, so it shouldn't make any difference which end is connected first, as long as the connection isn't completed until after numbers 2+5 have been held in. |

No but you stated that you cannot connect the cable to the PC until you have pressed 2 & 5 in and attached the USB cable to the phone.

Ok, I see what you're referring to now. The beauty of copy & paste.
Can we agree that only one end of the USB cable should be connected at first, and the buttons have then to be held down before completing the USB connection? Had I proof read the c+p a little better I'd have taken out the bit that said Quote:
